2nd Annual Southwest Reunion June 10-13!

I wish I could get you guys to go enjoy a August trip to Lake Belton, or an east tx lake..

I am up for anything next year. I am taking the time off. This new job got me messed up for this one. But am looking forward to next year. What ever lake yall choose, I'll be there.

Thanks again for all those in attendance. Especially those who had driven so far. I think that it is good testomony that an event should take place out this way yearly. I had a great time and met some even better people. I hope to see all of you again soon. For those who could not make it, the sponsers and attendees were very generous. It allowed us to raise money for this site and a portion to go back to Camp Grady Spruce which is a local YMCA camp on a lake that gives kids the oppourtunity to waterski that normally would not be able to.

Huge thanks to Ryan for putting this whole thing together. It was a blast hanging out on the lake all day (even though I paid for it Sunday morning). Look forward to doing another one soon. If y'all are ever i nthe Dallas area and looking for a pull, give me a call 618-558-7057.

Ok, back home again in Texas. I'll be over in Lewisville all day trying to finish things up on Thursday. Opened the event shirts tonight and they look great! I am planning on getting set up and settled in by miday Friday at the campground. For those comng in early let's try to meet up Friday evening at Sneaky Pete's. If anyone needs anything for your boats I would suggest both Buxton Marine(CC / Nautique dealer) or West Marine as they are both sponsers of the event and each are very close by. I would still like to have a get together Saturday night at the campground. Until then, I know alot of people are coming in on Saturday. If we could please try to meet up at Sneaky Pete's @ 10:30 am. There will be plenty of parking space for the tralers and from there we can have a quick discussion and launch from a nearby ramp. I will check the forum whenever I can, however if anyone has any questions or needs anything please fill free to call me 817-933-0105.

Where is everyone launching?

There are dozens right off of Stemmons Freeway (I-35). I'll be in that area today and I'll look. If you are checking look for some in the Gardon Ridge area. Several people stayed at the La Quinta last year.

We will bringing some stuff to cook out, but don't know if it will be Fri night or Sat night, we are planning on jumping across town to the PWT event at Texas Mastercraft Sat afternoon, so it would probably be later on Sat night before we get back to the campsite. BTW I should be there Thurs night sometime before they shut the gates at the campground. Don't really know when I will get to leave on Thurs yet.

There are some family arrangements I need to focus on right now. When this is all over I'll have some more time to focus on the event. From my understanding, most people are coming in on Friday so let's plan to meet at the campground or at Sneaky Pete's that evening.
