Chris,
While you're down there, take a close look at the condition of your cables and their connectors. While you're getting the battery, get a battery post/connector cleaner if you don't already have one. Also a small tube of dielectric grease goes a long way will all electrical connections. |

Every time I answer a battery "what's best" question, the phone rings and Billy (boat dr.) starts explaining to me the good results he gets with deep cycle marines/RV. Well, since your load is just a radio and starting, I'll take a chance - any name brand STARTING battery around 650 to 750CCA. Marine isn't needed. All it really gives you are studs for the cable connections. |
