Yes, sure did! Great looking boat! I think they had two SN 200s. Also had a beautiful new 2009 SN196 hold over from last year.

I've always wanted to go there! Did you get to see the new 200?

I was in my old hometown of Indianapolis (GO COLTS!!!!) on business this week, but, "managed" to find a little time to stop by to say hi to Bruce Foutz at N3 Boatworks and see their facility. Also met Bruce's son Brad. (Both very nice folks). I have always enjoyed talking to Bruce. He is a wealth of knowledge about Correct Crafts.

I was looking for an economically priced gear shift knob for the '76 Southwind as the orginal plastic black ball one broke. The original shifter knob styling didn't exactly turn me on either. He showed me one he had from the early 2000's that was a great find.

Now granted, it won't be an original style or look for my boat, but, it was machined steel and very hefty, looked great, and was a very reasonable $15.00. I couldn't go wrong. I guess now I can now say the Southwind is truly a "restomod":).

Plus, for anybody doing some upholstery work, Bruce had the new style mounting pins for mounting combing pads. These take the place of the old style metal pins and butterfly clips. They look to be much more user friendly than the old ones as you can complete the upholstery work and not have to worry about mounting the metals pins before you button everything up. And, being made of a new space age polymer, they won't corrode and break.

Thanks but $55 is more than I can shell out for a knob. Where do you think you saw the black one at? I've tried doing a search but didn't find anything.

Thanks Rob
