Greg - The alarm circuit had long been obsolete & no longer available.
It is possible to build the circuit from scratch (my son actually did) but it is somewhat unstable & give false alerts. We unhooked the alarm as it was annoying. If you want to build one from scratch, I can dig out the post with the circuit diagram. I could sell you ours (probably got $100 into it) but I doubt you would be happy with it. Just keep an eye on your guages. |

An family freind (and fellow CC Owner) mentioned that his 89 SN was equipped wtih a audible warning alarm (for lost pressure, overheat etc?)and it has essentially "gone away" and needs to be replaced. The local dealer informed him that this was not a replacement available. Apparently this item was traced back to some military specification and the trail was lost.
Any ideas on where to find a replacement? |
