There is no wood in a 96. Whatever section of floor it is, is fiberglass. You need to pull back the carpet to see what you've got. Might be some stress cracks which should be relatively easy to reinforce. Post a picture of the section that is soft. If it is the center piece in the seating area, that piece should pop out without about 4 screws. You need to remove the seats to get it out. BKH

The section of floor in my supersport is starting to get a little soft.
Does anyone here have any experience replacing one? I'm wondering what type of wood to use, how to treat it, and what type of carpet to get. Mine is the grey carpet Thanks in advance. |
