No Name,
The location of your hoses would be the original. I'd just put new flex on them. Unless you're in the witness protection program, get your name in your profile so we know who we're talking to. |

On the 82, those hoses only hand down to the bildge behind the gas tank. They do not extend up the bildge to the motorbox area. I believe they moved the hoses and the fans in later years. BKH

Question: I pulled the fuel tank in order to get the cracked filler neck welded. I noticed the blower vent hose was cracked about half way from the end, which was just above the bottom of the hull, to the blower connection. The other "fresh air" supply vent hose ended in about the same location, just above the bottom of the hull. For replacement of these hoses, should the replacement hoses end in the same place? Do these hoses only vent the fuel tank area? Do they also help ventilate the engine compartment? Should I run the hoses along the bottom toward the engine? Both of the hoses currently are attached to the back of the stern. It appears to be original placement but not sure if previous owners modified anything back there... Thanks for the help!
