I have used only 3M, but lately the store I buy from now has Norton. I was just thinking about this yesterday as I too have been sanding. I don't like the Norton it seems to tear easy and wear out too soon.

I usually stick to Norton, or 3M. No worries there.

I've read that most like the 3M better. I just used some to fix a small scuff and it worked well.

Anyone else notice a big difference in quality between brands of wet sanding paper?
Been sanding away on the Ski Tique in hopes to have everything done before the muscatine boat show. I couldn't figure out why 400 and 600 weren't taking anything down. I switched to 3M 800 grit I bought a while back and it worked wonders! When I compared the two brands (3M and Gatorgrip) the comparison wasn't even close. |
