Here is a link about Changing the steering cable on a 96SNOB, and late 90's Sports. The only real challenge was the access behind the kick panel.
Order the correct cable from CCParts, Race City, N3, etc. |

How hard is it to fix the steering cables or replace them? My dad is pretty mechanically sound so I figured we could probably attack it but is it worth it? More of a headache than anything? Or is it just better to take it to a boat mechanic so it's done legit? Thanks!
