Phil, what year and model boat do you have?

I'll bet a teak platform wouldn't have this problem

The rubber on my boarding platform runs inky black when wet and makes a mess of my boat everytime someone steps from it into the boat. I've tried polishing it with different products in an effort to seal it.
Does anyone else have this problem and have they found a solution?

Phil
