yes,we've tried that but then flooding eventually happens. We dont have any problems starting except when it been running for a while. What about vapor lock?

Maybe it's flooding/running rich, have you tried to crank with throttle wide open?

The boat starts great when cold and runs great the entire time but is hard to start when warm. Will crank with no problem but won't "catch". We'll have to lift the engine cover for 30 minutes or so then it'll start right up. What is causing this?
