Looks good Doc. Me and the Mrs may make a trip down with the old man's 96 this august. I'll be sure to let you know it actually happens and we'll meet up some afternoon!

Peter,
Chris used all three of the wood hull construction methods. The most common is the carvel planked. Then lap strake on their Sea Skiffs and ply on some cheaper hulls. Post the pictures. |

Al,
It will be a guess! The port side helm is a clue. Depending on the engine rotation I do know Garwood would do ether side with the helm. Am I close? |

We were just out enjoying the day. Saw two old plywood cabin cruisers, one Owens and one Cavalier, out enjoying also. Then ran over to a spot where we usually swim, shut it off, just floating. Our eldest son said "Here comes an old wood boat" So, I just assumed it was another plywood cruiser and didn't even turn around to look. But when I did turn around I think I said Whoa!
When I was snapping pics, The new owner said "Just bought it, Hope it floats!" AT |
