sound advice to boaters

A fool can ask more questions than 10 wise men can answer.

basically boat repair season is like crab season, 3 months of long days and alot of short fuses, the ones that get me are the ones that blew up last season and they put the boat away until spring, pull it out june 1st drop it off and want it by june 7th, now multiply these guy's by 10 and thats the reason boat repair places are 6 weeks out.....so dont blame the repair guy, blame your fellow boater, really though this is exactly what happens,
I did a towboat guy's trans 2 months ago, he picked it up and i got a call yesterday, they were just putting it in for the fourth weekend, he was on a budget and a swing out unit is 5300.00, I let him buy the parts and i supplied the labor saving him much$$$$$$$
he is 3 hours away, when he put the lever in forward the boat went backwards, simple problem, the captian gets on the phone and starts mother fin me, i paid you when i picked up the trans, my mechanic aint touching cause it will void the warranty....he went on and on and fcin.

I explained to the mechanic to pull 2 bolts and move the knuckle, he fcn wouldnt, again, I want your ass out here now!!!!!!!!
now im fcn livid.
he overpowered the conversation until he pissed me off,
First off, when you tow somebody do you tell them "hey you can pay me next month"? second of all, its a bench warranty pull it out and bring it here and I'll fix it, thirdly, you have a guy installing my transmission that is incapable of pulling 2 bolts and moving a knuckle? man was i fcn pissed.CLICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
