Frank,
No need to pull the trans! There's a "O" ring on the shift control/spool directly behind the shift lever but, the spool come out from the other side. Be careful on the re install. there's some tabs that need to line up on the spool. |

It appears that I am leaking fluid on my 10-17 velvet drive from the detent ball. Is this possible? Can the O-ring be replaced on the control valve without removing the transmission?
