I had a friend put is ass through his center glass (open bow door) The glass shop here took the measurements and ordered a tempered replacement. $35.00 One quote was $90! Find the right shop as Pete said.

Wrong "glass shop" that doesn't know glass!! Slight curve? So what? Just as Tim mentioned, the glass bends. You walked into a shop with a bunch of "glass stupids"!! Have you ever seen the single piece of glass used in the early 80's? Port to starboard curved by the frame from a piece of flat glass!!

Yes it's true - find another shop that really knows glass!!

It sounds like your going for a new windshield. Here is an interesting
site that will explain, in detail, various situations. I contacted idaho auto glass, who says it's bad for the rubber around the windows, but would offer me cleaning instructions on Monday when they open.

While the frame may have a slight curve, I would be very surprised if the glass itself wasnt flat. The front piece on my '90 was flat glass, but curves several inches in the center.

Take the frame to a glass shop and have them cut you a tempered replacement.

I have a 95 Super Sport and the center fold-out glass got mysteriously shattered on a 2 mile, 45mph drive to the gas station. The frame is all good and all I need is some replacement glass. Any help? or ideas?
