Tom,
Rebuild kits for your Carter from the Carburator Shop I as well as a friend who does lots of carb rebuilds have used the outfit without any problems. The last kit I got from them was for the Zenith I put on my Universal Flexifour rebuild. |

Last week while taking my boys skiing with the mustang the engine started to stumble. Then it died and would not restart open the cover and I have fuel leaking from the throttle shaft on the carb. So back to the shop off with the carb (which I thought about rebuilding last year ) and down to my local parts house (napa) they can't find a kit for the carb, looked more locally and no luck. Anybody have any ideas? I was looking last nite on the net and found a couple of leads, but won't be able to call till monday. It's a Carter ABD 3624s on Ford 260?
Thanks Tom |
