WOW!!! I just put two and two together and I did not realize the Stuart Bieber had died. I sold Stuart his Blue 98 Ski Nautique many years ago. This saddens me and I know my wife Michele will also be saddened as Stuart was one of the most likeable personas I have ever met in the water ski world.
Stuart found out about my 98 Python equipped Ski Nautique and tracked me down while I was still at CC and bought it off me almost sight un seen. In our dealings with him we came to find him a very energetic and fun loving towards life and water skiing in general. I guess it is never to late but Michele and my hearts and prayers go out to his family and his close ski family for their loss. Team Seal Jody, Michele, Stephen and Monica His accident may have come up in another Thred but again I did not put it together til now. |

Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

I knew Stuart and we was a terrific person who was very active in the water skiing community and simply loved to barefoot. He started this event last year and it is being put on in his memory. The folks in Alabama (Col. Biggs Show Ski Team) are very pleasant and alot of fun to hang and ski with.
Go and support these folks if you can as they can use all the support we can provide. |

SN206 posted this link on the "Learning to Barefoot" thread, but I thought I'd give it it's own thread. This is a barefoot endurance race that's being held in Alabama on October 2nd. It's in honor of a guy named Stewart Bieber, who I've never met, but have been told was a great guy. Stewart died while bacerds footing.
I don't know anything about the race, but here is the link. Alabama Barefoot race If we were closer, Burning Soles would represent. I hope any of you guys who are close enough check out the event. Or better yet, grab four buddies, grab the rope, and race. |
