Jim I do remember that day and speaking with you - funny how the old boats and fellow CCF members can find each other one way or another. We'll have to hookup in the spring
Keegan it is real easy (most of the time) to catch stripers - just a decent bass rig or get a line counter reel and some live bait and you can catch some fish - lots of fun too watching the kids catch a 30"+ long fish |

Nice Lunker! I have wanted to get back into fresh water fishing and that is motivation right there! My stepson is 10 and I think he has only fished once. Nice to pass something like that along to the little ones.

Sure is great to have your daughter fishing. Great memories for you two.
Nice fish. Met you at Charleston park one day last summer. We'll have to get together with the other Lanier CCFans this summer. Can't wait for spring! |

My daughter has caught the striper fishing bug I have at age 10 and has become quite the fisherlady. Here is a few she caught Sat. after Thanksgiving (her largest fish to date is a 13lber). We fish Lake Lanier just north of Atlanta where we do all our summer boating as well.
I threw in a 15lb fish I caught on one of out recent trips - had to tell her that dad can catch one after she catches 10 and it just happen to be a nice fish I wish she would have caught - go figure. |
