just a side thought and worth some checking.... I have been looking for a while and when I spoke to the dealer last year, he said that 90 +'s had a lifetime stringer warranty to the original owner?    seems odd to me, but might be worth checking.   Anyone else heard of such a thing?

That is a great dad, best mine did was signed me over a rusted out 100,000 mile 1965 pontiac in 1981. Miss him just the same though. Kind of miss the car too. I do still have the hood emblom on my wall.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

If its that wet and the primaries show rot, you are in for a stringer job. Its a big job but doable. Show us some pics and get a diary set up with your boat. You will get all the help you need here at CCF.

Nicholas, welcome to the site and glad you finally decided to sign yourself up instead of being one of those lurkers. If you been here off and on then hopefully you will have followed the many restore threads that members have posted here on the site. Like Eric suggested keep digging and searching here on the site and do your homework. Don't be afraid to take on the restore yourself as we'll be here to help you along the way.

Yes, take pictures...LOTS of them and show us what cha got. We'll be able to tell you more when you get them posted. Welcome to CCFan!

Hello my fellow CC owners and admirers. I have been following this site on occasion for a few years and now I come to you all in hopes to get suggestions and ideas to complete my project. This 1992 Ski Nautique has been in my family since bought new. Last year my dad signed the title over to me! Greatest day ever. Wanting new carpet i cut into my floor pulling up all carpet. When the carpet was pulled i noticed deperation in the fiberglass floor from the foam filler. I cut the fiberglass floor out to find wet wet wet foam and rotted away primary stringers. I have pics coming soon. Please give me any suggestions.
all help and support is greatly appreciated and thanks cannot be put into words!
