Just a few MPHs but if you plan on skiing behind the boat I'd definitely leave it on.

So side note would it be a faster hull with out the hook? And Hollywood I have the skis. |

Depends on what you're trying to do. It's made to put the bow down an bust through waves at barefoot speed. Not ideal for wakeboarding, but most everyother inboard will have some hook except for the Tige's. It's gonna take some grinding and a lot of gel to fix it. Personally I would leave it after Flying off a couple of waves last year in Ryan's 206, I really like how planted my Excel feels, at the same speeds it would have barely lifted my bow. Kinda nice to not have to worry about rollers when you're doing almost 50.

I hope the picture explains
IM using a 6' straight edge and as you can see from the transome forward there is a .25 gap at the rear.This is under the main stringer location. Should I try and get this out or is it supose to be there? |
