Air206 i havent asked anyone i just found some other post where it seemed like two or more opinions were put out there and im not smart enough to decipher which one works for me. my comment wasnt meant to be rude in any way i just did not want this topic to become a pissing contest i just needed direct answers

I talked to the man with the plan (BOAT DOC) and was told "Sweet, leave the d@#& thang alone " Im learning to listen well. I put the cap back on and moving to the next topic to post about!!!!!!!

If you dont know how to top it off, then how do you know if it is a little low ?

Read the owners manual, as different years have different dipsticks. Manual for your tranny should be in the reference section with pictures of the dipsticks.

I wanna say that the boat was at the Docs for a visit so he probably knows and if he doesn't I'd call Chip and just ask .

My new trans is a little low on fluid. Not knowing what is in there i would like to know the proper way to resolve this problem. I know there are other threads on here but maybe i can get a direct response on this go round

p.s if you are not 100% sure of your response please keep it to yourself
