Thanks for the welcome to this site and for your response. Looks like a great site for Nautique owners. I'm not sure how much gel work my repairman has done. He's a friend of a friend who does this for a living. We're kind of limited around here for repair shops. I know he does do good work though. He has not seen my boat yet as I have just described to him the damage. At that point he asked me to come up with some paint/gel coat numbers for the year of my boat. I will try to upload a picture. Thanks again and I will try to familiarize myself better with this website.

Ron,
Welcome to CCfan. We always ask for pictures!! Get some as well as text submitted for the diaries section as too.

I'm sure someone may have the color code but I would question your repairman and why he's asking you for it. His gel suppliers should have the listing. Also, I'm close with two glass guys who both do the factory touch ups on brand new CC boats before delivery to the customer. (defects are not done at the factory) They both say the same thing - even the gel directly from the factory doesn't match. Both need to make color adjustments on every hull they do. Are you sure about your repairman? Just how much gel work has he done? BTW, many here have done the gel repairs themselves. How about a picture of the scratches?

I'm trying to get some sort of paint or gel code numbers for a 1991 Nautique. I need the codes for Electic Blue and Ice Bluemfor that year. I'm trying to fill in a deep scratch and my boat repairman can't do anything without a code for the colors. Any help would be very much appreciated.
