David,
I almost forgot - when you install the 3 hole ring, make sure the one screw faces forward and the other two are aft just like Gary's. We do need to keep things original here!

Mine is the original one David,it's just flat with a radius on the outside edge so that it's not sharp.

I think the one that I have is just an ordinary Perko trim ring.

It is a 3-holer.

David,
They are just a flat plate.

Yes, you better go original with 3 holes instead of 4 and .100 aluminum is 10 ga.

Gary did you make that or did it come with your boat?
Do these have a cup that fits down into the hole or is it simply a flat trim piece?

Dr.CC I'm interested if you have one. I believe the my pylon is 1 3/4 inch diameter.

Not a bad Idea Pete, thanks.

Yeah if I'm not at work, eating or sleeping, I have been working on the boat. Getting up early, staying up late. I'll update with some pics soon.

David,
You've been putting in so much time on the boat, you haven't been doing your "homework".

Larry,
I feel your best option would be to fabricate one yourself. Use a couple hole saws for the diameters. Then it just had 4 countersunk holes for the oval head screws that holds it to the floor. Finding one may be a problem. I remember doing the dealer installs back then. Better than half the time, the factory wouldn't even send the trim ring along with the pylon!!

Pick up some aluminum about .125" thick.

Does anyone have an idea for some kind of trim piece for my pylon hole? At the moment it will be just pylon against the new vinyl flooring and ply below.

Thanks!
