The best answer is 3" stainless or copper. Not that much louder. Just a nice destinct grumble.

As Seb above mentioned, the on site search feature is a fantastic tool. The problem is selecting the correct key words and then being patient.

Using "muffler repair and setting the search for "older than 6 months" I found a post with several links.

with the proper techniques and materials I think its reapairable..search around...or go mufflerless!!! run hose or all the way or better SS pipe..badass sound...

My fiberglass muffler has begun to crumble where the hose clamps fit over it. I need a fixing solution or a new one. Let me know, I am taking on water. I have considered wrapping new glass around it but Im not sure it would even work. Thanks. Call 785-312-0351. I live in Lawrence KS.
