Driver had internal bleeding / injuries & cut on his head. His aunt had broken neck, ribs & shattered knee. We talked to him in the hospital & he never heard breaks from the truck either.

Yes the Nisson was a pickup. My adjuster just called & said he was standing in front of my truck & just wanted to make sure I was ok because I shouldn't be. I did have to go back to the hospital yesterday for headaches, dizzyness, vision so they did a CT scan & more xrays. Xrays were clear but the CT scan found something that she could not really tell what it was. Maybe a bad spot on the film or the way they cut the picture, but I have to meet with a neurosurgeon on Thusrday for MRI & follow up.

WoW! Glad you guy's came away okay. Holy She-at Greg.... That Semi musta been hauling A$$ or too busy texting and not paying attention to do such damage. Scarey stuff. That's the one thing that scares the bah-geezez out of me driving a Miata    but its hard to beat 30 MPG when I've got a 65 mile RT to work.

It is amazing how well some of these cars take a crash, compared to the ones built in the 80s. I was just reading how there are now a couple models of cars that have never had a critical injury, yes they are lower volume rides like volvo suvs but still

Wow, youre right- good eye. The roof rack is short and says "crew cab" on it. Talk about scrunched.

Man o man........kytom is correct. That truck sure has had some adventures. I remember being next to it just over a bridge in the pouring rain.
Glad you are both ok. Trucks can be replaced!

I'm glad to hear that you and your wife made it out ok. That's an amazing sight to see that all four doors are hardly scratched and look fully functional. I drive the same truck (2005).

Well it was til Friday night anyway! My wife & I were coming down I85 in Atlanta & traffic stop in front of us. Not a hard stop, just a slow stop. Truck behind us stopped. Somewhere a few seconds later a fully loaded semi did not see the stopped traffic. Hit the truck behind us, us, an suv in front of us, a van in front of that & one more vehicle in front of that. It felt like a bomb went off in the truck. When it finally stopped, there were tail lights and a bumper right if front of me in the windshield. If we were in less of a vehicle, I don't know if we would have made it. All involved were suvs or trucks. Total 10 of us left in ambulances. My wife & I were released Saturday morning without major injury. I didn't get to see what the carnage looked like, since I left the truck horzontal on the back board, but can only image after seeing all of the cars invloved when we went to pick up the my stuff from the truck this weekend. All I can say is, we had a pretty powerful 3rd co-pilot riding with us Friday night!

This white truck was the first on hit.

But I guess it was not completely totaled, my CCFan decal made it!
