Need to disconnect the battery and put a amp meter in series. You can use a regular VOM for this. This will tell you what the draw is. It should be less than 15 milliamps (ma). If its 500 ma (or 1/2 amp), it will flatten the batt in a few days. Ive seen alot of these problems to incorrect connections made to stereo systems.

I have a 96 Sport Nautique, after it sits for a few days the battery goes dead. When I run the boat it does fine, the alternator is charging the battery, but when it sits something is draining the battery. I always make sure all breaker switches are off as well as the radio, any sugestions?
