no i was thinking it would be just a trailer to switch to once or twice a yr and the bike wouldnt be on it ever during launching.   it would seem that the trailer would only need to be about 4 ft longer in the tongue

It would be a pain to switch trailers unless you keep the boat in a slip, and it would look a bit funny with just a boat. I bet you couldn't get that trailer down to hitch it up off the jet skis aren't on it.

I tow with a 3500 GMC van. When we moved from Indiana to Georgia I took the seats out and put an 07 1200 Sportster and a 97 Heritage Softail in the van and then hooked up the boat.

i cant believe that thing is on there.. driving to sebago yesterday i was trying to figure out how to get the boat and harley there for a week in sept.. i would love to build a trailer with a channel in fron of the boat sideways to the boat maybe with a tip down or removable ramp for the bike to ride on ...

That would just be like pulling a long RV, unless the truck is very heavy it shouldn't get close to CDL weight. For the small triple rigs, I pull the Excel with a teardrop trailer behind it once a year. I always use my F250 because I need the 4 wheel drive at the ramp. I've never had any issues and after going over the CDL laws in TX I can't find anything that says I need one or any endorsement. I do have a CDL, just no endorsement to pull triples. My rig should be light enough to be legal with a half ton truck, best guess it's less than 7000 lbs and that's being very generous with the gear in the boat. They only issues it has is it wiggles a little different from a single trailer and it takes a bit of planning about where I can stop, so I don't have to back up.

i was wondering what the laws were, because i seen a guy pulling a boat and then a jet ski trailer attached to the boat?

With that rig you could piss yourself off with your own jet skis.
