A difference in flow might be normal. I have noticed a difference in the amount of flow until the thermostat opens up - then the flow becomes about equal.

The hoses are in correct order...however,the hose length is longer by several inches on the port side...could that make much difference?

If the impeller needed replacing, could that effect one side?

Check the hose routing for the manifolds and make sure it dumps into the themo-stat housing then the exhaust manfolds, if it feeds one manifold before the other then you will see a difference on flow.

Anyone want to guess why my port side exaust moves less water than the starboard?

In the driveway , when running the engine at idle, my port side moves about half the water as the other side. At higher RPM's it is the same (equal amounts).

I have removed hoses and flushed the manifolds...water runs freely and is clear.I don't think there is an obstruction.Hoses and clamps look OK.This only happens at idle.

The temp gauge reads fine ...but I am sure one side is runnig hotter...due to less water movement.

Why just one side????
