Next time those old fats come out and yell at you, pull out the video cam, get real close to them and get some footage. I've got a feeling they will not like it!!!

Everything is normal, you'll just have to deal with it. [Slow] No Wake is defined as minimum speed while maintaining control of the vessel. The only way to techinically not make a wake would be sitting still. Forget those bastards.

I tried running the idle a bit slower, but then I was getting some intermittent stalling, which can cause issues when idling toward the dock (ask me how I know this )

Yeah there are about 3 dozen other inboards (only 3 CC), it's just some old guys with nothing better to do than be dcks. I usually pretend I don't hear them and just keep chugging along, but the wife doesn't like the fact that someone is yelling at us.

Thanks Tim

I didnt really notice the layout of the launch/channel... too busy getting lost!

It sounds like all is normal with the way you have the boat set up. I would not lower the idle any more than you have already (I shoot for 650 in gear). I did notice several other inboards on the lake- why they feel the need to single you out is a little strange. It seems like youre already doing everything you can to be courteous... personally, Id give them a friendly wave as I idled past, but thats about it!

I guess that is it...

Not sure, it's slow enough that it barely moves the Speedo, my idle is dead on 600. Not sure if you took notice when you where here, if you seen the launch ramp, but that cove is very narrow and at idle I create "ripples" that will extend to the shore, and yes I get harassed. I'm usually in/ out of gear the entire way out of the cove, but when I am out of gear I'm at the mercy of the water. The "ripples" aren't even enough to nudge any of the boats along the shore, but there are 2 older "gentlemen" that take great pride in giving me a bunch of sht when coming in/ out of the cove.

The prop that came on my boat was a 4-blade OJ. From the numbers I can get off of it, it is 13x13x1. It has Legend stamped on it and 146 and also 1 01. I am trying to ID it but I cant find anything online that fits this description. I went to the OJ site but the search turned up nil. Maybe I'm not searching for the right thing?

My question would be if I went to the stock 3-blade, will it slow my idle speed down?

Thanks
TIM
