Karl,
I suggest just taking it apart and seeing where the problem is It may just be a corroded socket. If so, get down in it with some Scotch Brite. Clean it up and use dielectric grease on the socket as well as the bulb base. BTW, it's not a "short" but rather an "open". If you had a short, you'd be blowing fuses!! |
