Wake board binding questions

I have a pair of Ronix One boots size 12.
I bought the board and boots as a set and the boots are a little to big for me and I was actually thinking about selling them. If I can find some smaller ones that I like then I will sell these if you are interested.

I'm not even sure where to start or how to say it...

I have a great wife

She went out shopping for ski gloves at out local Ski Center and found none. BUT ~ When she came home this evening she sent me to the car to where I find Pro Rider Gordon Harrison's Liquid Force Watson 139 Wakeboard with New Liquid Force Transit bindings. My wife not one to pass up a deal found this one reduced because this shop Ski Center sponsors Gordon and he used this board as a stand in after breaking his in a local competition.

Wow we should start a lucky 13 club. I also wear a 13 and have had an impossible time using other peoples' boards through the years. Over the winter I bought a pair of Hyperlite Audio closed toe boots and cannot rave about them enough. The stainless steel cable boa lace system is super easy to dial in and the release is even easier. No pressure points or funky munster cheese patterns left on your feet after a session. DO yourself a huge favor and check these out!

That may not be a bad idea.

They usually change over with 4 thumbscrews, two for each binding anyway. The screw threads (edit: are the same for most boards), but the actual thumb screws will sometimes have proprietary ridges for the bindings. So, as long as you keep your own screws with your own bindings, you're probably good.

I have a size 13 also. I bought a set of the those CWB "Hinge" bindings a few years ago. They're pretty good because they open up nice to get in, and then when you close the clamp thing, you're in there pretty secure. I actually feel like they get a little too "snug." I kind of like the looser feeling and I'm not good enough yet to really need a super tight fit. My cousin is almost a 14 and winds up needing the boot butter, even with the hinge.

I'd try and to to an actual, brick and mortar, shop and try a couple on. You won't necessarily know with a mail order deal. Also, both in store and online, they often put together board/binding packages. Sometimes you could get the whole deal for 80 dollars or so more than just the bindings. If you had your own board, then you wouldn't have to change the bindings over ever time.

I'd rather hear from the CCfan bunch then dive into an unknown wakeboarding forum.

I tried to go out on both a JOBE and a CMB wake board today and could not get either set of bindings on my size 13 foot. The JOBE said large and the CMB said XXL on the bindings. My friend with a size 9 has trouble and has to use soap to get the JOBE on his feet.

Any good solution to my delima? I'm searching but stumbeling.

I've gotten to play on another friends old old Obrien Stinger wake board but it just has toe loops ~ no bindings and is much narrower.
