WARNING Thread Jack

Anakin made me post this since he was being used as an example.
Gary a GM product in a Mustang is just not right. But a bit of Labrador in a Poodle is a big improvement.

Just curious if they made a marine version Quadrajet? BTW Quads are great carbs when built and adjusted properly.

Kelly,
Did you just drop in a conversion or replace the complete distributor? Why?

Inspect and read you plugs before you do a heat range change. Did the guy who told you they were "cold" check them? If not, seriously, you may be listening to the wrong person!!

Welcome to CCfan. We need pictures!!!

I have a 305 chevy in my 76. I am only guessing that they take the same plugs. I have been very happy with NGK BR6FS plugs in mine. Once, when they were not available, I was told Autolite AP26 would do and it ran fine with those.

hi everybody i am new to this site and need some help with a 72 mustang. it has a 307 chevy and my first question is does anybody know what the correct spark plug should be? it is running a little rough and a guy is telling me he thinks the plugs are a little cold. i have had it changed to electronic ignition and just had the quadrajunk rebuilt. i may still consider a holly carb if anybody has any recomendations. hope to hear from ya. by the wat we are on jimmerson lake in indiana. thanks, kelly
