Hey,
I got up to take a look and they are still there. I shot a couple pics on my phone, but I have no idea how I can get them off. They are in excellent shape with no damage I could see, they have been covered with canvas, and under a shed. All the railings are there too, everything except the floor, controls and a motor. Anyway, I can text the pics if you wish.. They measured 22 feet, pointed front, square back. If anyone can post the pics, I'll send them. I just bought a replacement truck, so I could get them as far as Madison. |

You can expect to pay about $30K for one of those. There is a guy in columbus Ohio that builds pontoons with 30" tubes. Two of those will float a jump just fine. Tim |

Sorry, momentary thread jack. When I was a kid, a guy on our lake, one of those work hard-play hard types, a construction contractor, took a 10,000 used gasoline underground storage tank, split it down the middle and built a deck/party barge on the two halves. I remember the day he had a big crane come in to set in in the lake. |

Don't underestimate the marinas. People are freshening up pontoon boats (buying newer) all the time and there can be some real bargins especially if they have shoddy interiors. Also try craigslist.

I will be going north this weekend, I bet my Dad had some. He always wanted to build a floating pontoon which served food, candy, ice cream, and beer, well mostly beer with a few bags of ice. I remember seeing some there so I will check and post when I get there. They were painted chrome, over aluminum. ???
Not until Sat. night when I get there. If they are there, you are welcome to have them. You'd actually be doing me a favor, I'd even drag them to the curb and get them loaded for you. St. Germain WI area. |

Kris, Exactly what I had in mind. We did come across a boat just like this, but we need a new portable dock first so...it's going to that cause! 
My Marina buddy Brian is going to bring over a bunch of barrels to possibly throw under a jump until we find us some junked out toons. |

Mike - during my years of dreaming about a nautique, I considered buying a salvaged boat and re-building... Crashed toys and some other web sites have toons that are pretty beat up, you might be able to rescue a banged up one and throw out the whole top side of the boat. having the toons banged up wouldn't necessarily affect their floatation, but would be a hard sell for someone wanting a nice tooner for their lake house

Yea 5 seasons tows it too...
The bellevue ramp I'm thinking is going to be a portable sized one. Mainly so we can take it on the road. We don't need a regulation sized one...was thinking an 8ft wide puppy. Last year at the last show in bellevue we used 5SST's portable ramp which is a flip up foam floating 8ft wide one. I really like it, but it's heavy and not easy to tow in current. |

I'll get some pics, it might give you some ideas but it's not really tow worthy as-is. I'm not sure the flotation has much to do with it though. Wonder Lake and Twin City tow their ramps back and forth all year, do you guys too with 5 seasons?

Our club jump is handmade, wood framework and attached to a hay trailer. Floats on plastic barrels. Been going some 20+ yrs.

Hey all,
Our little show team in Bellevue is looking to build our own portable jump ramp. We have an idea of what it needs to be...now we just need a couple floating aluminum pontoons to put a deck and ramp on. Anyone have any leads? Other than the obvious head to our local marina's and ask if they would be getting any junked out ones in, are there any other places I should check out? Who has some they want to get rid of?
