Nope! You're an American. Whatever you want, the UN will go the opposite direction, and publicly humiliate you. But, they will still gladly take your money to keep the place afloat.
By the way, hang on to that old tower of power. Those things are cool! I had an '83 Merc 115 TOP on my first boat. That was before I discovered Correct Crafts. As a kid in central Indiana, I learned to ski behind my dads 14' Chrysler boat with a 110 HP Merc. Screw the UN! Run them Mercs!! |

Hey, I think it is hard to argue with global warming, but I feel I am doing my part. I am ditching my old 64 Mark Twain with a "Tower of Power" 2 stroke, super dirty, oil spewing, hydrocarbon blowing super polluter for a much cleaner classic Mustang. Maybe the UN can pass a resolution recognizing my contribution to lessen global warming.

I read that too Dave! They say its just another ploy for the UN to assert more power and create a "one world government". I also read the U.S., and many other nations won't go along with something so ridiculous. And, I also agree 100% that we should pull out of the UN. Without our support, the UN would probably fold up, and go out of business.

The UN is proposing a court system to fine nations not for current practices on global warming but historic practices. Some how they feel developing nations have suffered some type on injustice due to this, and they should fine advanced nations and use the money to purchase technology that will reduce the emissions in developing countries. So we create a phony crisis and clean up our act to comply with it, hurting our business climate in the process, and now we are going to have to suffer again to pay for the sins of those that we already cannot compete against due to their reduced costs from things like having no regulations, all in the name of an unproven scandal ridden science? It is time to pull our selves and our money out of the U.N. and explain to them that we are a well armed sovereign nation.
