I will say that Deans looks to me like a more accurate representation than Dales.

Jackie Deens gauges look very very nice.

On Dales airguides, looks like he just slobbed the paint all over the needles, and in the wrong color.

If I had a customer, demanding the very best, pinching pennies is just not acceptable.

I haven't heard from anyone but I am willing to make the dials with the "Miles" on the outside of the dial. I would like to have a few sold before investing in the artwork. Someone let me know if there is interest.

I have been searching for years to find a match to the Airguide on the right.

I'm not in a huge hurry, so we could give this some more time to see if it sparks more interest.

No, I don't currently have the screen with the MPH on the outer ring. They can be made though. I have not had anyone want that one yet.

Left:   Plastic (kph-outer)
Right: Aluminum (mph-outer)

The aluminum face is attached at the black rivets, the plastic face spins freely when it's un-cased.

I don't need a total restoration, just a facelift.

Do you have a screen for the White Face that reads MPH on the outer circle ?

I'll post a pic of the two different W/F Airguides.

I have a pair of Plastic White Face (kph), that I would be interested in converting to the Aluminum White Face (mph).

I guess I didn't answer all the questions.
Yes, I do complete restorations. They are pricy.
I do not use plastic stencils for your dials, they are silk screened with solvent based (as opposed to water based) inks. Your dials are replaced with new metal dials. Many of your speedometers have plastic dials.
Thank you,
Dean

Hey Dean,
Fantastic you came up with this great deal and are willing to help out so many with Airguide restoration problems. Can you do a complete Airguide restoration?

What else can you do? I did a "google" on "classic boat works" and many popped up so I don't know which site is yours. Are you an ACBS member? That would help lots knowing you are serious in the field of restoration.

Hello All,

After much searching I have finally found a company that will make replacement lenses for Airguide speedometers. These replacement lenses will fit your 700 series (All chrome case with 4 color or black and white dial) and 2025 speedometers. Most 2025's have plastic lenses this is a GLASS replacement.

Needless to say the process is not cheap (MADE in the USA). I am offering a "pre-production" price to help make this project more affordable. $25 for undrilled and $30 for drilled.
If you are interested please contact me at coolboats@classicboatwork.com
I will send an invoice and update when I have more information on the time until delivery.

I had found some NOS lenses but they are gone.
Thank you,
Dean
