Been doing some research. Does anyone have any thoughts to bonding everything with epoxy first then doing your build up with epoxy. Brought out the old books from school and this was one recommended practice. There was no technical info. Sorry no pics my computer took a dump and cant load them from my phone

Welcome to the site! Another great new boat story to add to the collection!

once they are in the file manager click on the picture to open it. Once it is open right click on it and select copy image location. Then go to the forum you want to post the picture in and hit the full reply editor button . Now you have more options at the top of the box. Click on the button and then paste the image location of the picture from the file manager. Hope this helps.

Keith - Congratulations on getting your boat home. I just email my pictures to myself - there is an option to resize them in outlook. That brings them down below the size limit on this site.

I hope you get the bearing figured out. Does your trailer have thru-the-spindle greasing?

Finnaly got a chance to look at my stringers. There is no seperation from the hull and they sound solid. I found one spot that was suspect but every thing looks good. I knpw how everyone feels that if there is one bad spot they should be replaced. Im on the fence. With my budget i think ot could be put off for a few more years. I looks like a p.o. has peviously replaced the stringers. All the bolts for the engine bracket will tighten down. Maybe some cpes in that one spot? I know this will spark up some debates just couriuos what you guys think. Still cant figure out how to get any pictures up on the post. Have them on the file managet puts thats as far as i can get them. Any advice? Dont mind the bad grammer been in the shop to long today

when you get a good deal you just want to get out of there before someone changes there mind.when i bought my silver i knew the bearings were toast before i got to the end of the guys driveway.i had to pry my fingers out of the steering wheel after the 1 1/2 hour ride home.i made it with no issues, lucky.

use photobucket for the pictures.. search for instructions on how to do so.. make sure you search for all posts not just ones in the last 6 months.

Hope you got a good deal on the boat.. the night in the walmart parking lot I can relate to.. it happens.

Keep in mind we love pictures! Plus, they really give us a great idea of the project.

Good luck getting the boat home and welcome.
