BAD!!! The stuff is basically ether which is a very strong solvent. It will wash the oil film off the cylinder walls. You have just removed several hundred hours of your engine life. You should NEVER have to use the stuff. Why did you?????? |

Fixed this problem. It was the starter solenoid. Turns over fine, but not it won't fire.

Neutral safey switch on trans. Check for battery voltage going in to the switch and out with key on and in neutral position. if no voltage comming out jump the switch and and see if it will crank over. Also check the braker on the back of the engine.

I have had issues with the NSS before but usually move the throttle a little and it fixes itself. No such luck this time.

Check to see if you have the volts going from the ignition switch to the start relay. The NSS is in the circuit too so see if it's Ok.

Brand New battery, but the starter wont turn over, not even a click at the starter. Ignition comes on, blower runs fine, and when you turn the key you can see the volts drop a little so that seems to be working. Where should I begin? Would the external starter solenoid cause this? Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
