No, I feel he's got the 1901 number pletty close. Since engines weren't the best back then, it was quite common to change them to later and better. On my 1915 launch, I know of 3 engines that were in it through it's life but the hull actually shows evidence of 4.

I love the steering setup!

The listing says 1901, but unless the engine was put in years (decades) later, I think he's got that number wrong!
