I'm new to this whole inboard thing (bought mine last August), but I believe you just suck the fluid out and put the new stuff in.

As for type...I'm not confident enough to guess. I have an idea, but don't want to steer you down the wrong path.

I have a 1980 SN with a Velvet Drive trasmission, model 10-17-004 with a 1 to 1 ration I think? I wanted to change the transmission fluid but did not really know where to drain it at. Would someone please give me direction on how to do this and what type transmission fluid you would recommend. Thanks in advance.
