Check the tubes(brass thingys) for cracks I had one that must have frozen and cracked when the PO didn't blow them out during winterization.
Also check the tubing(plastic) for cracks and that the connections are tight. You may have to cut a little off the plastic tubing to get it to seal tight. |

It could be coming from a couple different places.
1)the lag bolts holding the platform brackets (pointing at in pic) 2)around the exhaust tips or 3)the pick-up tubes (under arm in pic) |

Could be coming from where the rubber tube goes thru the hull to the speedo pickup. It might be that one of your exhaust hoses has a hole in it or is not clamped properly. you should be able to see it with a flash light with the tank in.

I have an 85 ski nautique purchased late last year. At that time i noticed excessive water in bilge. this week i changed the packing for both the rudder and propshaft. while out adjusting I was still getting water found it to be coming from behind the gas tank from the speedo tubes. before i pull the gas tank what should i be looking for??
thanks for your help Lou |
