Yes, there are several ways. Pull the suction hose that runs from the RWP (raw water pump) to the trans cooler and stick it in a bucket of water. Then, replenish the water in the bucket with the garden hose as the engine is running. Or, you can just stick the garden hose inside the RWP suction hose and clamp it. The bad about this method is it can mask RWP pump and cooling problem due to the pressure from the hose. There are plenty of threads on the subject with pictures as well as more permanent installs using a T in the suction hose. Welcome to CCfan and we need pictures!!! |

I have a 1978 Ski Tique that I think is ready for the water. Is it possible to start it out of the water? If yes, how?
