Money, wealth and life - everyone has a different understanding of happiness, there are different standards. Happiness is a feeling, you feel good, you feel, is that it has. Happiness with money, power, beats by dre status does not necessarily become proportional. Rich fisherman than the sun is not necessarily happier, scavenging for the elderly can be a big star with the same happiness. In this world, money can certainly bring temporary happiness. Can be money, become a kind of chips, you can not buy anything. S love does not meet the time of man's desires, the more rich people, beats by dre the possessive of the more intense. Earthly suffering most from the desire not satisfied - material happiness attempts to meet the spirit of happiness is impossible.

Check out some of the different options on the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is linked from within this thread:

I am sorry for not posting more info. I just got this boat two days ago so I am still figuring out some of the info. It is a gt-40 motor and supposedly it had a tune-up with oil change before we took the boat out for a test drive. I will have to check the plugs and wires again and mabe it will be obvious where to go after looking at this. Do both of the fuel pumps go bad around the same time or would one be more likely than the other. I am a experienced two stroke mechanic but obviously there is no mixing going on here...lol

good advice from kap there, all things that wouuld be good to check. If you are running rich I would start with spark. insufficient spark or a cylinder not firing or firing intermittently would show these symptoms. That is assuming its MPFI.

welcome
submit some pictures and a brief story of the boat in the diaries section so we know more about you. so you have a year 2001 sn and not a model 2001 sn... You need to provide type/make of the engine, carb or efi, etc in order to help better in the trouble shooting. 2001 you probably have the ford gt40 mpfi. From looking around seems a regular problem rises in the FCC filter or the pumps, this set up has 2 of them a low pressure and a high pressure. Other ideas, have performed a tune up? checked spark plugs, cables? etc? hows your timing? Check the distributor cap, look for cracks etc... |

I just bought a 2001 ski nautique 196. While I was test driving the boat I noticed that the boat seemed very sluggish a the bottom end of the power band and the boat didn't seem to pull over 4200 rpm. This was explained away by the fuel being old and the boat not being ran for a couple of years. I didn't worry to much about it due to buying from a reputable dealer. I took the boat out after filling with fresh fuel and took the boat out for an evening of skiing. The problem hasn't got any better and if any thing it is worse. Tboat has developed a miss at idle and will actually loose rpm at wot. It also smells like I am skiing behind an old two stoke outboard so I am thinking it is running really rich. This is my first nautique and I am so proud and excited to own this one, just would like some ideas to start looking at...Thanks in advance for all of your help, Steve
