Bought a 68 Resorter FGL four about $500. The top Mahogany Covering boards were pretty much dry rotted. was able to save one as a Pattern. Setting it on the boat as a template it looks as though the pattern the hull looks as though it has bowed out about an inch. this bowing is from the transom forward about 8' I have a choice to leave it as is or pull it in with clamps and glass the supporting boards in taking the bow out of the boat. The original covering boards was supported by 3/4 " marine plywood. The plywood is glassed into the boat from underneath with 4 " Ribbon tape. The mahogany covering boards sit on top of the 3/4 Maring plywood. Anyways any sugestions would be help full.
