Unfortunately Allen they are not sold anymore it's the original one off my HM. They also were on early Ford Mustangs. Here is the closest you can now get

I always change my filter after I use up the old gas that's been in the tank since winterization.

Gary I like that filter pump setup. What is it and where does one go about buying one of those?

I have had my tank cleaned out and only buy gas at well known high volume stations. With the filter setup I have I have never found anything even using ethanol which is all we can get here.

See this subject occasionally and have always been curious..what percentage of mid-70's owners have installed such a device?

Probably depends on the level of ethanol that is in the gas you purchase. I do mine every other year.

Don't know what the census is on the inboard boats but in my off shore outboards I always change yearly or every 100 hours.

Good question. I installed one on my 64 last year. Havent started it yet this year, but planned to change it then. I'm guessing yearly is recommended,(or after so many operating hours?) but have nothing to base that on.

Hopefully someone familiar with it will chime in.

Just changed the Water - fuel Separator filter yesterday and there was a little junk that came out so I guess it was good to get a new filter in there. Filled up the new one with clean gas re-installed and ran it on the hose for a bit.
How often do you guys change that filter since it doesn't have a drain?
Wasn't having any issues just had a new filter sitting there and didn't know when the PO had changed it last.
