Gary, I wish you could have made the trip. Dale left with a complete 292 RR in his truck. I ended up with all his pieces and a fat roll of 'C' notes.
Life is good.......... Jonhb, the manifolds are still for sale. No interest in trades of "any" type. In God I Trust, the rest pay cash........Billy |

My neighbor is down at Billy's trying to wrestle a rebuilt Y block from him right now. If it wasn't for life's problems it would have been a great roadtrip.

I'm on it. They seem a bit sketchy with the repair. My understanding is the water jacket usually goes first so I guess I am taking a big chance on a possible shelf art / paper weight. If the snails are good I can always call Billy and pledge him my soul for the pair he has |

I gotcha... nothing wrong with having spares! Just so long as you understand the different styles wont drop right in easily without some plumbing modifications.
Correct on Christines not having the patterns- everyone I know who has had those seats redone is having them done locally. Im looking forward to seeing Gary's new ones- I know he debated a long while on the colors and patterns he wanted to use and I think he ended up with a pretty nice looking, original plan. |

Yes Tim, I have a good pair from the SS. The 70 came with Oscos. They are literally an anchor. Maybe I'm greedy, but I would love to have a spare set of H/Ms. The boat had the Exhaust hose reduced to accommodate the Oscos. I am going to do copper when I finally get busy. I think the Nicsons or Interceptors are also very cool looking and they would only be inventory to use in case the unthinkable happens to the H/Ms.
I have my daughter working on an interior design for the upholster for your seats since Christine's can't do the old Mustang skins. Your shells will be the crowning touch. I can't thank you enough, they are beautiful! |

John, the Interceptors are just as hard to find. Your boat has the H-M, right? That means its set up for 3" hose all the way back. The Interceptors are 2-1/4" and use smaller hose and exhaust ports. I also suspect they flow quite a bit less, and wont sound the same either. Not sure if the plumbing at the front is the same size, but worth checking. What Im getting at is that they can be made to work, but arent quite a drop in replacement. I'd hold out for exactly what you want... you werent able to salvage 1 good pair from the 2 boats?

Hi Billy, How have you been? Well I hope. I am looking for the type that came on my boat, yours are like the pair Gary posted the photo of above. The manifolds are the same, but the risers are very different. |

Dr, I believe yours are like the ones Gary posted a photo of above. Those are for a stern drive boat such as a Donzi. I am looking for the correct ones for a Mustang. I may be interested in them for the manifolds minus the risers if you come up with a price.

Where do you think I got them They came from Crystal Lake, a guy had a Sweet 16 and decided he didn't want the noise too. He also had a couple of old Honda bikes and an Amphicar. |

Rub it in Gary. I have been watching eBay and searching the interweb since I got the boat. No luck yet. All I have seen is the big block H/Ms that have been advertised on eBay forever. A Donzi guy would love to get his hands on yours, as would I. For now, I'm just shaking the bush!

If anyone has a contact for Holman Moody exhaust manifolds, please let me know. I am possibly interested in a spare set for my Mustang.
