Check the voltage directly on the back of ignition switch with multimeter and also the there should be a ground and possible power buss strip under dash, you need to check this also. Are you refering to the starter switch as the Solenoid? Try to bridge the solenoid to see if starter operates

Does this have a dash pod? If so, have you had a look underneath to look at your wiring?

You should get a voltmeter & trace down where the fault is. Could be a bad breaker or bad ground. You also may have to clean some connections, they may be tight but corroded.

I have a 1991 Sport Nautique with a Ford 351 PCM engine. I have been having an electrical problem. My battery checks good (12.3 volts), but when I turn the key to the accessories I only get the fuel gauge indication and nothing else like voltage indications. When I turn on the blower it seems to be slow getting up to speed and when I put on other accessories it shuts off or the accessories do, like the bilge pump. I turn the key to start and there is nothing. No click and no starter turning over. I tested the starter switch and it looks good. I have put a Battery charger on "start" on it and there is no difference. I have also checked all of the wire connections and they are tight. Can anyone help?
