What kind of lure you were using to catch these? I want to check my tackle box and destroy anything I have that may be similar and attracts these hideous creatures. I wonder if their mothers loved them?

I don't think I have seen the in the NC fish identifier. Invasive species? Maybe you should send it to one of the ichthyologists (East Carolina University)?
