I realize this is late posting but I wanted to say a BIG thanks to Reid & Laurie for turning over Pinkham Point to the small Army of CCFan's and their boats for the weekend. Y'all that didn't make it missed a good one. I got there Thursday afternoon and still didn't have enough time to do all I wanted and visit with the CCFans I already know and those I met for the first time. Guess thats why I try to attend a few of these mini's cause as it's the Fan's themselves that make these things so great and the CC's are just icing on the cake.
Also I wanna thank Steve Watkins for bringing the Chicken so we could throw it on the smoker and Ruck for grilling the Pork and making the best Red Beans and Rice EVER! Those that brought the other fixin's and stuff thanks to you too it was all fantastic. If CCFans went hungry it's their own fault as food was in abundance.

I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted as I spent allot of time pulling guys and half of Sat catching up with an old college friend of mine whom I hadn't seen in 25 years who lives in Charlotte who made the drive to the event to see her old friend.

Great boats, Great skiing, Great friends, Great time! The SJRR 2013 won't get here soon enough so we all can do it again.

Here are some pics that I and Joe's friend Lauren took. She was a trooper as I gave her a 10 sec lesson on how to use it and just start shooting. She did pretty good as you you can see. Thanks Lauren for helping me out as I have a reputation to uphold!

I've been waiting too. Joe's friend Lauren was out on Tim's boat with Tim, JMurph and me and Tim's camera and she took about a billion pictures. Have to be some good ones.

Ha ha! Doggy breathalizer! I took a few pics but mostly just the videos I condensed into that little montage or whatever. Finally got to take the cover off of the Skier today to let it dry out while I was at work. It was still soaked this morning after a wild weekend out and a cold rainy beginning of the week. Not many days on the lake left for 2012.

Kinda forgot about that one...which couldn't have anything to do with the empty beer bottles or cards on the table in front of me. It actually wasn't bad. And with the combination of chili dogs, blonde hooker beer (or whatever that stuff was), and the lemonade/white grape mason jar special I had coursing through my system at the time, the fact that it didn't make me catch on fire I give it 3 out of 4 paws.

In an attempt to open up some picture floodgates I will post the only ones I have from the weekend:

Looked so good I thought I would put up a tent on it:

Which never quite got slept in…

Then we have this pic from Lauren where Adam was testing out the doggy breath spray during the Sunday evening shenanigans.

^^True story... not cheap!

Many thanks to the Pinkhams and their supporting cast- world class hosts! Had a blast, as always- too much fun. Great to see old friends again, and meet a few new faces. That skiff is serious... and a little bit frightening!

Eric and I got back to NJ around 7pm last night, where I dropped Ole Raunchy and headed to CT. Great weekend!

Oh, and if anyone is looking to order me a new G23 for christmas this year save yourself some money and order it without the "autopilot option". Turns out it is just some guy that lives in the storage compartment and comes out to drive when you dont want to do it. Not a bad idea, but if you think gas prices are bad you should see how much it costs to feed this guy.

The auburn NY contingent had a nice lazy Monday return trip. We made a stop out in in maiden to hide my 83 amoungst the Pinkham collection, then turned north.

We had no traffic or other issues, made a nice dinner stop up in , lunch in Roanoke, VA, dinner in State College PA, then back towards Auburn. We were surrounded by beautiful mountains and colorful leaves just about the whole trip (couldn’t see them the last 5 hours but they were there). Saw some flashing red lights in the rearview mirror about 10 miles out from home, but it was a just a bored cop looking to use a bulb out as an excuse to find out what we were doing on the road at Midnight on a Monday. He gave up the hassle on quick and soon we were home.

Good times with good people as usual, thanks to the hosts, helpers, cooks, drivers, brewers, etc.

Just landed home in Cleveland...awesome weekend. A big thank you to Laurie and Reid for hosting us this weekend, and also to Joe, Steve, Steve, Matt, Mike and Gail (and whoever else my 8-hours-in-the-car brain is forgetting) for letting me ride in and behind your boats and ski on your gear. It was great to see everybody again, and to meet the folks I hadn't before. Cannot say enough about the experience of meeting and hanging out with other CCFans. Plus, only one person threatened to stab me this weekend, so bonus. (and she knows I love her anyway ;)

I hope everybody got home safe and with everything theys started with, or in Eric's case, maybe even more. Can't wait for the next one.

Will do.

For those who left Saturday, you missed out on an awesome Sunday despite the New England style temperatures! We started with some morning coffee with a special mixer courtesy of Jmurph. We then proceeded from Reid's compound to Bojangles (big treat for this northern boy), the BBC to see some other boats, then Race City Marine so we could all comfortably hide inside the storage of the new G23 and followed that up with a competitive pitcher drinking competition while enjoying football as a group. The night ended with some cards, beer, moonshine/shot ski action, and everyone falling asleep on the floor of Reid's living room. What a great weekend!

Thank you again to our hosts and everyone that came out. Tim, Tique and myself are currently making our way through West Virginia with ol raunchy behind us.

Thanks again to the Pinkhams for hosting another great weekend. Saturday was about as beautiful a day that you could ever hope for in October, and boy did it turn around in a hurry! Great to see some old CCF friends and meet some new ones at the same time.

Not a great video but there are some cool fly bys at the end.

I'm not sure who owns the boat, but I did talk with Pat, Matt and Ryan and the boys did restore that boat over the summer. REALLY great work.

Pete,

I am not 100% sure about the ownership. I was told that the son's did the resto and the boat was their's. However, it my belong to the company. My memory got cloudy on Saturday. There were some grapes in the bottom of a mason jar that tasted very good. LOL

Pete,

Pat Crusse of Crusse'n Classic's in Mooresville, NC is a wooded boat restorer on Lake Norman. Pat's son's restored this 56 ski atom this summer. The Century ( FRP Hull and wooded Deck is also their boat. Pat is good friends with Reid. Go to www.crussenclassics.com. The build of this 56 Correct Craft is well documented on their Web-Site.

FYI,

Donald

I've talked with Pat regarding the restoration. I just didn't know that was the 56 of his son's. The last time he called me, the boat wasn't finished.
