Shrink wrapping is common here, a sheet of specialty plastic that shrinks to fit with a heat gun sealing the entire boat. Cost is a few hundred to have done. I use a re-enforced plastic tarp over my cover in the winter to achieve similar results at a far lower cost. I hope it is taking most of the UV abuse also.

For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

I don't rely on my cover for the winter. I shrink wrap it and I haven't had any problems with moisture.

Don't rely on your cover to keep it dry, they rarely do, you need to check on the boat more often and do eveything you can to keep it dry and clean so moss and fungus and mold don't take over. Be sure the plug(s) are out so water can escape. Maybe consider a covered framed enclosure as a way to help keep the water out of the boat/keep it out of the weather.

The big desiccant tubs suck up all the moisture.I used to put them in my cabin cruiser for winter storage they worked great.Low tech pillowcase filled with speedy dry or cat litter with baking soda.
