I have that set but it doesn't like to stay under my 1979 skis! I have thought of taking cheap straps to hold the fronts onto the skis while moving.
In indiana I didn't get to even take it on a lap last year :(. Snowmobiles are so great on snow but like to kill your back when moving on any other surface. |

Studs are nice until you need to move your sled around on the nice concrete floor. Also, careful of the plywood shooting out from under the sled when you take off, then it's stud on concrete again.

Should have explained better. I don't have any cement outside my shed...just gravel. So just came up with some plywood and using my dollys. See pic:

Menard's has a 3 piece set, metal platforms with casters, pretty cheap, 1 under each ski and 1 under the track. Rolls around easy and small to store when not in use.
Currently using one of the ski rollers under the jack on the Martinique, which has a sand pad. |

I dolly a sled outside on the apron and then roll it into the shop. The apron gets scratched up from snow removal anyway.

Looking for some ideas for the sled on the new shed cement. Best idea I could come up with is lay a 4X8 sheet down and slide up on it then dolly the sled. Thoughts?
I'm probably thinking way to far into this but thought there might be some awesome things all you rock stars do. Looking at 10-15" coming tonight and tomorrow here in IA! |
