interesting and timely

The WBC just announced it will be a dealer for Eagle and offer all the custom stuff Eagle can do, made in USA yada yada yada...

I know Roy had a zipper break on his new WBC suit and KSO was not too keen on helping out...I don't know if Roy got satisfaction but it seems maybe WBC had a quality issue

has anybody else had problems or know of problems with a WBC suit?

I have to admit my Eagle does slide pretty well. The BI setup offers the most protection by far.

I am also in the market. To bad those vortex deals have dried up! I have my eyes on the Eagle Razor. I've left the site open on the computer and tablet... even left my shaby suit on the basement floor... lets see how this plays out.

Eagle suits are best IMO.

You will enjoy the suit - it will "break in" and be slicker than snot on a door knob

I bought a Intesity Suit once... it was crap. I just bought it because it was super discounted. The floatation wasn't sewn and they made tumbles etc difficult behind the boat.

same here, that intensity sucks, not even worth the 99 clamps i payed for it!

It'll lose some of the stiffness, it'll "fit" to your body after about 10 uses, so it will get somewhat easier to get in and out of. They are always easier to get in and out of when they are wet. Guys with big shoulders will need help getting out of the suit normally(If it fits right).

That stiffness is what makes the suit glide and slide so much easier than others.

When you couple a BI suit with the BI barefoot shorts you have the maximum padding for your azz and you will be much more comfortable during deepwater starts especially.

If you find that it's just too much padding you can go to Barts and get a $40 pair of unpadded neo shorts which is what I like to use.

@Quinner. Stiff, yes, that's the way I'd describe it too. That's the only thing that has me concerned at this point. Will it loosen up.

@Glassseeker. Sleeveless. I'm not as limber as I used to be and I'm what my mother would call "big boned" so the sleeves make it that much more difficult to get into

@Larry. I need to watch those videos a few more hundred times.

Regarding the guarantee. I admire the guy's passion for his products and service, but it's just a little over the top for my personality. It is good to know tho that it isn't just hot air and that he will accept a return if a customer is unsatisfied.

Again, my only concern at this point is the stiffness especially with the shorts underneath.

Eagle has cooler graphics though!
But a side slides look cool no matter what suit you are wearing

That set up should provide maximum protection and really will glide on the water very well, it will feel better after a few uses...and just with it fully wet is alot better.

That is a great set up for tumble turns, deepwater starts, and long butt slides on the end of your run.

Plus it's maximum protection for the body in a wipeout.

An Eagle, or a WBC is a good suit too so if you want different graphics than BI thats where to look.

They are all full wrap suits which offer the best protection.

It is my understanding that Barefoot International will no longer be selling their drysuits. That's a bummer since I think they are the toughest, dryest, drysuits out there.

Santa wanted me to have it in case the mayans were onto something.

Seriously, I don't know why I got it early, but I did. The cool thing is my daughter is getting the identical suit from Santa too. Really looking forward to being the better skier that Lane promised.

Hey, Christmas is not until 6 days from now.
For thousands of years men have felt the irresistible urge to go to sea, and many of them died. Things got better after they invented boats.

Hey guys,
My wife and kids really surprised me this year for xmas with a BI Ironman BF suit with the shorts. Wife went with the recommendation and got the shorts one size larger than the suit which seems counterintuitive, but after trying them on, there's no way I could've gotten away with smaller shorts. Suit feels super stiff (especially with the shorts), but I can see why the butt glide and protection should be 100 times better than my 20 year old BI suit.

What are you guys opinion of the suit? Did it break in and have a much more custom fit after the 10-12 times recommended by BI? Any tips? Would you guys recommend another suit?
